Believers have an inner motivation rooted in love, sacrifice and accountability before God, and they often become the driving force of change in their communities. Church communities inspire the welcoming of children into families, establish mentoring ministries, support groups and initiatives that do not leave children and parents alone with their difficulties.
We believe spiritual inspiration must be combined with professional training. Therefore one of the key directions of our cooperation is raising awareness within church communities about best practices in social work with vulnerable children and families. We provide training, offer resources and consultations, and support communities in creating effective forms of ministry.
Church communities can and should be places of safety, care and real support. Through cooperation with them, new foster and guardianship families, mentors, prayer initiatives, support communities and advocacy actions to protect children's rights are emerging in the regions.
We are convinced that a single community can change the fate of at least one child - and that is already a true miracle.
Initiatives such as "One Church - One Child" and "One Church - One Family" help us with this, inspiring local congregations to become spiritual and practical support for children in need of love, for the parents who have taken them into their care and for families facing difficult life circumstances.
