The public organization Nehemiah, founded in 1996 in Uzhhorod, is part of the international Nehemiah Team, which enables the involvement of mentors, specialists, and volunteers from different countries in its projects.
The organization is the founder of the regional movement Transcarpathia Without Orphans, which has become a platform for promoting family-based care in the region. Nehemiah is also an active partner of the Alliance for Ukraine Without Orphans, participating in national initiatives and regional programs supporting vulnerable categories of children.
